This policy explains which personal data we process when you use this website or send us an enquiry, for what purposes, on what legal basis, and which rights you have.

1. Controller

Momento Vita GmbH, Waldfriedhofstraße 105, 81377 Munich, Germany. Managing directors: Filippo Heller and Lorenzo Bortoletto.

Email: info@momento-catering.de · Phone: +49 163 9211991

2. Website delivery, hosting and server logs

This website is operated and delivered via the Lovable platform. When you visit it, the hosting infrastructure processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating system identifiers and other request metadata. This is needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and detect misuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation). The platform provider may also process data outside the EU; see section 9.

3. Enquiry form

Only your email address and your message are mandatory. All other details are optional: name, company, phone, type of event, date, time frame, location/postcode, guest count, requested services, budget and additional information. The website language you used is also transmitted.

When you submit, your details are sent to a server-side function of this website and delivered from there by email to our business addresses. The enquiry is not stored in a website database.

We use your details solely to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering business enquiries).

Your email address is not automatically added to a newsletter or used for marketing. We do not currently run a newsletter.

4. Email delivery via Resend

To deliver the enquiry email we use Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc. (doing business as Resend), USA. Form contents and email metadata (e.g. sender, recipients, time, delivery status) are processed by Resend as a processor for the purpose of delivery. For international transfers see section 9.

5. Business email via Google Workspace

Our business mailboxes are run on Google Workspace (Google). After delivery, your enquiry and any further correspondence are stored and processed in these mailboxes so that authorised staff can handle, answer and document it. The same applies if you email us directly.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in orderly business communication).

6. No web analytics, advertising or social media trackers

Momento currently does not use its own web analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, social media plugins or newsletter tracking on this website. Momento itself currently does not use optional analytics or marketing cookies.

Independently of this, the website platform may carry out technically necessary processing as part of delivering the website, for example to provide it, balance load and protect it against misuse (see section 2).

7. WhatsApp, Instagram, Google reviews, fonts and logos

WhatsApp and Instagram are included only as plain links. No content, plugins or scripts from these services load before you click. Only when you click do you leave our website, and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. or affiliates process data under their own privacy terms. You can always reach us by email or phone instead.

Fonts and client logos are served locally from this website; no third-party requests are made for them.

On the homepage we show public reviews of our business profile from Google Maps. This content (overall rating, number of reviews, review texts, authors' names and profile pictures, and links to Google Maps) is requested by our server from Google Maps Platform (Places API) of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, when you open the homepage. The request contains only the identifier of our Google profile and the page language – no form contents and no identifier of you as a visitor. Profile pictures are also loaded by our server and delivered inline, so your browser does not connect to Google to display them. The content is not stored permanently by us. You only leave our website if you click a link to Google Maps. This is not web analytics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing public customer reviews (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information: Google Privacy Policy https://policies.google.com/privacy and Google Maps Terms of Service https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/.

8. Recipients

Recipients are authorised staff of Momento Vita GmbH and the service providers named above (website platform and hosting, email delivery, business email) to the extent required. Beyond that we only share data where needed to deliver a booked event, with tax advisers, or with authorities where legally required. We do not sell data.

9. International transfers

Some providers (in particular Resend and, where applicable, Google and the website platform provider) may process data in the USA or other countries outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers only take place under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, e.g. based on an adequacy decision (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified) or appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses as provided in the providers' contractual and data protection terms. On request we will tell you which safeguards apply.

10. Retention

Server and security logs: kept by the hosting provider only as long as technically necessary for operation and security, according to its own settings.

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: kept only as long as needed to handle and follow up the enquiry and to defend possible legal claims, then deleted under our internal deletion routines.

Contract and accounting records: kept in line with statutory German commercial and tax retention obligations (in particular Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO).

11. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).

To exercise your rights, simply write to info@momento-catering.de.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

13. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you (Art. 22 GDPR).

14. Security

Data on this website is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We also take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

15. Changes

We update this policy when our website or the services we use change. Last updated: October 2026.
